2. Braun Strowman’s MVP Performance

Las Vegas badly wanted to believe that Braun Strowman might pull a fast one on Roman Reigns and hit him with another Running Powerslam right at the main event's end. The groan was audible when Reigns slipped out and thundered into Braun for the match-winning Spear.

Losing shouldn't take away from how strongly Strowman was booked in the match. Of the six other men involved in the Chamber bout with him, Braun eliminated five (Miz, Elias, Cena, Bálor and Rollins) before succumbing to Roman's finisher a full 40 minutes in.

Don't forget that Braun was also written to kick out of the usual finisher-fest, powered out of Seth's Frog Splash from the top of a Chamber pod and even kicked out of Cena's Attitude Adjustment at one. It's just a shame Strowman's WrestleMania 34 spot looks like an IC Title berth, because he's capable of doing so much more.

This MVP performance seemed to be WWE's way of making up for Braun's lack of a major match heading into New Orleans.
