WWE Elimination Chamber 2018: Results Predictions

Sixes and sevens.

This Sunday, WWE's watchword is 'historic'. Jot it down on your drinking game rules, but do be sure you have enough puke points dotted around the place: you're going to hear it a lot.

A women's Elimination Chamber. A men's Elimination Chamber with one extra person. Someone signing a piece of paper. It's all happening - and these are just the moments pre-ordained to be pivotal in Paradise.

Is it strictly justified though? Doing something for the first time can be Earth-shattering - walking on the moon, for example (pedantically speaking not Earth-shattering at all, but whatever) - but only if it's an achievement in itself. It takes a lot of effort to get to the Moon - it's a right carry-on. Putting on a match which hasn't happened simply because the company never thought to do it previously? We're not so sure.

Still, it's happening, and it's unquestionably a good thing. Hopefully the schoolyard adage 'first the worst, second the best' won't apply, and it'll be historic not just because we've been told so, but because it actually is. If it does, well, at least we can look forward to 2019's attempt.

7. Miztourage Nerds Join The Squash Club

It wouldn't be inaccurate to describe the Bálor Club as an exclusive one, but words can be devilishly deceptive. We're prone to intuit it automatically, but by no means does 'exclusive' equate to 'prestigious'.

Entry into the Good Brothers' nerd-bashing niterie is entirely restricted to those prepared to slum it on the pre-show. Signing up for membership usually means rejection from a more esteemed set - namely, relevance within the company.

Gallows and Anderson's last pay-per-view outing came under dimmed lights at the Royal Rumble, and again they are set to test the ring with a hastily slapped together exhibition opposite Polyfilla personified The Miztourage. The match was only announced on Thursday, which is pretty much all you need to know about how consequential it is. In any event, Miz's mooks will get a stern rebuttal from The Club's bouncers.

Prediction: If The Club club The Miztourage in an arena and no one is around to see it, does it make a difference?
