Shane McMahon cut a disconsolate figure as he patted The Miz on the head after dropping the SmackDown belts to The Usos at Elimination Chamber. Being honest, Miz & Mac/McMiz/The Jock & Troll Express/whatever WWE want to call them were never built to last anyway.

Their alliance has been so see-through since it started that one can almost smell a 'Mania match coming before it happens. No amount of promos about "family" or making their respective fathers proud can change the fact that Miz and McMahon had the sustainability of an argument claiming Shane-O is the "Best In The World".

They, much like the aforementioned Carmella and Naomi combo, were always going to be fleeting. The Chamber proved that, and it's now onto the next. In this case, the 'next' is a bit of trouble in paradise between the sick-bag-inducing pals.
