3. WWE Cruiserweight Title: Buddy Murphy (C) Vs. Akira Tozawa

Result: Murphy retains the strap via Murphy's Law (13:25).

Rating: This was another very solid 205 kickoff match that was given decent time and allowed to tell a story. Things got off to a brutal start with that outside suplex, while the majority of the match was ultra-smooth all the way to its strong final sequence.

It would've been great to see either man win, and Tozawa nearly convinced he was going to with one of his better recent performances, but of course, it was always going to be Murphy.

As the main show ran short, this was clearly worthy of being lifted from the kickoff. 7/10
