WWE Evolution: More Names Confirmed For Show?
Six more women revealed for 28 October.
Now WWE's Super Show-Down is over and done with, the company are switching focus to filling names into each of the 50 slots promised for the upcoming all-female Evolution pay-per-view. The ongoing nonsense between The Brothers of Destruction and D-Generation X aside, we can probably expect the women's division to receive a big boost over the next two weeks.
That process is already underway, with PWInsider today revealing a set of six performers outside the main roster scheduled for an appearance in Uniondale on 28 October. NXT stars Io Shirai, Dakota Kai, Bianca Belair and Candice LeRae will be joined in the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum by Ronda Rousey's former-Four Horsewomen stablemates Jessamyn Duke and Marina Shafir. It's not known in what capacity they'll perform at present, but you'd get good odds on a throwaway battle royal.
Given they had to had to invent a sumo wrestler and drag The Great Khali across the continent to pad out the similarly sized Greatest Royal Rumble back in April, we can probably expect a little bit of barrel scraping in effort to make up Evolution's remaining numbers.
