Sunday wont be the last time that Evolution meets The Shield. This has all the makings of a longer-term feud, given how invested the veterans are in Evolution being a hit. Triple H doesnt need Evolution the way Orton and especially Batista do. The cool factor, the sense of nostalgia, the strength in numbers: all work in Batista and Ortons favor, as otherwise theyve gone cold, post-Mania. Triple H can always go back to being a fantastic corporate heel on the mic, but his cronies stand to benefit a great deal from Evolutions success. But Triple H likely wont wrestle every week, and I suspect neither will Batista. So they wont be doing 6-man tags on a regular basis, leaving Randy Orton to carry the load. I see him facing Seth Rollins as a primary opponent, and having some great matches. Rollins is so quick and agile that Orton will tap into his own quickness to keep up and one-up him weve seen Orton turn it on when he met up with Daniel Bryan so many times. Rollins style can be very similar to Bryans, and so Id look forward to these two meeting. Not to mention, Rollins has been getting a lot more mic time, and a verbal battle between these two would be an education for both of them.
