When WWE Extreme Rules takes place on May 4th from East Rutherford, New Jersey it's going to be a show that will continue the theme of WrestleMania 30 as WWE continues to push its younger stars to the forefront. We saw the likes of Daniel Bryan, The Shield, Bray Wyatt and Cesaro in prominent roles. What's next for them? Now that the Extreme Rules lineup is set, there are questions about what may happen and more importantly what we hope to happen. As wrestling fans, we just want the product to be exciting. We're not used to WWE staying stagnant with their programming. They always have to keep going forward. Daniel Bryan is now the man, so we want to know how they're going to keep him strong and book him as a credible World Champion. Then we want to see who the next big thing is. That's probably going to be Roman Reigns, so we look at him with a close eye now. Is he going to be a big babyface on his own or will his buddies Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins be there with him? That's a big question heading into Extreme Rules as they face off with Evolution. Extreme Rules is being built around three top matches: The Shield vs. Evolution, Daniel Bryan vs. Kane in an Extreme Rules Match where anything goes and John Cena vs. Bray Wyatt in a Steel Cage rematch from WrestleMania 30. If those matches are great then the show will be too. Other things will matter, but those are the ones that will really set the tone. Here's a look at ten things that optimistic wrestling fans hope will happen at Extreme Rules. Some of them are obvious while others are a surprise because we need some quality surprises once in a while too.
