10. The Miz's Bizarre Acting Promo

Since Maryse returned to WWE shortly after WrestleMania, The Miz has experienced a new lease of life. Previously, his cowardly heel character was going nowhere, but now the arrogant villain has someone to help him cheat to win. He also has someone who will encourage his deluded character.

During the Extreme Rules Kickoff show, The Miz was scheduled to deliver a promo hyping his WWE Intercontinental Title defence later that night. The whole thing could have been routine, just another heel promo shouting about walking out of the pay-per-view still as champion. Fans were gifted something else entirely.

Those who don't watch the Kickoff portion of the program will have missed the entire thing, which is a shame because Miz was on top form. Quoting the 2004 movie 'Miracle', he comically decided to redo the entire promo again, because he wasn't happy with his performance the first time.

Obnoxious behaviour should be the basis for any heel, and this was superb from The Miz. If there are more promos like this one, the Kickoff show will become much more essential.
