A resounding answer to the question this match was built on. And while lots of people seem to be complaining about the "destruction of Bayley's character"...
...That's not exactly true. Bayley works because she is a plucky underdog who never gives up. Having her be dominant makes no sense, and it's far more interesting to see her as an enduring loser (as she was in NXT - and as she is ideally to a lot of her fans). Plus, her going extreme and wailing on Alexa with the kendo stick wouldn't exactly fit with her being the ultimate babyface, now would it?
Still, it doesn't make her "homework" look very smart, does it?
So the booking actually does make sense. The real problem with the match seems to have been the ending...
