Take a bow, Seth Rollins and Drew McIntyre.

On Raw, those men pulled off a main event almost as good as the Rollins vs. Dolph Ziggler Intercontinental Title headliner on the 25 June episode. By going over 20 blistering minutes, Seth once again showed why he's WWE's workhorse extraordinaire and Drew proved why he deserves more than being Dolph's lackey in the long run.

This bodes well for Extreme Rules then, because Rollins and Ziggler will go 30 minutes in an Iron Man Match and McIntyre will be around ringside. Their bout is the pay-per-view's most exciting heading in, and it simply must be the main event. There isn't another match on the card that could hope to top it this Sunday.

To that point, there's an awful lot of filler on this show. Maybe that's because WWE have decided to add an extra hour to supershows, or perhaps it speaks to the traditional post-WrestleMania lull, but matches like The Deleters Of Worlds vs. The B-Team, Finn Bálor vs. Constable Corbin, Braun Strowman vs. Kevin Owens and even Roman Reigns vs. Bobby Lashley feel a bit throwaway.

They can still be rescued with the right decision-making though...
