WWE Extreme Rules 2019: 5 Most Likely Outcomes

5. Seth And Becky Will Retain (And Baron Corbin Will Take The Fall)

The creative team wants the WWE Universe to buy the fact that both Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch's titles are in danger simply because they're both on the line in the one match, but the fact of the matter is that absolutely nobody is buying it.

At the end of the day, this tag team match has simply been concocted as an excuse to drag out both the respective programmes between Rollins and Baron Corbin and Lynch and Lacey Evans, so that the champions can move onto bigger and better things in the build-up to SummerSlam. Thus, what we have here is a half-baked rehash of both programs all rolled into one in an attempt to make it seem more exciting.

However, there simply are no stakes here. Rollins has defeated Corbin twice on pay-per-view, just as Lynch has also defeated Evans twice. Their title reigns weren't threatened then, and they aren't threatened now - and no underdeveloped attempt to force a conflict between the couple will convince us otherwise.

Rollins and Lynch are the hottest stars on Raw right now, so you can rest assured that they'll be carrying their championships into SummerSlam. However, as Evans has more to lose than Corbin, it's unlikely that she'll tap out at her third consecutive pay-per-view, so we should expect to see Corbin take the loss here - perhaps even to Lynch.
