Rhea Ripley is in line for one of the biggest spots on next year's WrestleMania card.

This is according to Dave Meltzer, who reported on Wrestling Observer Radio that the direction as of now is Ripley vs Raw Women's Champion Bianca Belair at WrestleMania 39.

The news will come as little surprise to those that have seen the former Raw and NXT Women's Champion flourish on the red brand since joining The Judgment Day earlier this year. 'The Nightmare' has become the defacto leader and difference-maker within the group, and her obvious star quality is such that she's been used to help Dominik Mysterio become one of the most over heels on Raw too.

'The Show Of Shows' match between Ripley and Belair was first teased on the November 7th edition of Monday Night Raw, ahead of Ripley joining Damage CTRL's WarGames team going up against 'The EST's babyface quintet. The two have fought over the NXT Championship in the past - most notably at TakeOver:Portland in February 2020, but never in singles action on a main roster Premium Live Event.

Belair has been Raw Women's Champion since WrestleMania 38, defeating Becky Lynch. It was her second reign, having defeated Sasha Banks in the WrestleMania 37 headliner the prior year. Rhea Ripley was last eliminated from the Royal Rumble by Belair en route.
