WWE Fastlane 2016: 10 Things We Learned

By Jamie Kennedy /

1. Roman Reigns Is Going To WrestleMania

As if there were any real doubts over who would win, it's Roman Reigns who will challenge Triple H for the WWE World Heavyweight Title come WrestleMania 32. This felt like the worst kept secret in recent memory, because barring a complete swerve Reigns was always going to win. WWE have a job on their hands making him the babyface however. There were audible boos at Fastlane aimed in his direction. That's a shame, because Reigns works hard. Unfortunately, fans much prefer Dean Ambrose, and definitely fancied Brock Lesnar to be winner much more than WWE's chosen future champ. The fact Roman pinned Ambrose following a Spear should be played into storylines on TV in the very near future. This time last year, Roman Reigns was in a very similar position to the one he finds himself in now. On this occasion, there's a difference, WWE are now ready to finally pull the trigger and hand him the ball. The frosty reception to his Fastlane victory must make it clear to management what fans have known all along, this is a tough, tough sell. What else did you learn at WWE Fastlane?
