WWE Fastlane 2018: Every Match Ranked From Worst To Best
A mixed bag of a PPV.
The Road to WrestleMania begins to narrow now with the Fastlane, final PPV ahead of the big one. On paper it was a card few fans were particularly excited about, especially given the tendency for these pre-'Mania shows to generally consist of filler and not much else. To that end, it was neither as bad as you might've expected nor as good as you may have hoped for.
This year's Fastlane is best described as a mixed bag: there was one bad match, several mediocre ones, a few good ones and two very good ones. Quality was all over the place, and a couple of mostly enjoyable matches were sadly derailed in the final stretch by terrible booking.
The show started and finished strong, at least, and WWE didn't throw any unexpected spanners in the works before WrestleMania merely for shock value. The 'Mania picture became a little more crystalised, and the show basically did what it needed to (which, honestly, wasn't that much)...
