WWE Fastlane 2019: Every Match Ranked From Worst To Best

A rollercoaster ride of great and... not great.

The final marquee stop on the Road to WrestleMania is, of course, WWE's Fastlane event, and true to form, this year's show was a majorly mixed bag of shocking duds and brilliant in-ring clinics.

Though the men delivered three genuinely great title matches, the women were cruelly underserved in three unremarkable-to-bad bouts which couldn't seem more counter to the entire notion of the Women's Revolution. This was not what anyone wanted to see.

Elsewhere, spotty booking decisions and odd finishes gave the show a Russo-esque feel at times, even if overall quality of the PPV was elevated significantly by the matches that really worked.

In terms of crystallising the roadmap for 'Mania, Fastlane was pretty underwhelming, but it did at least make some tantalising teases - especially in relation to a certain Kofi Kingston - which will hopefully pay off in due course. But as ever with WWE, nothing's set in stone until it actually happens.

As pre-'Mania filler PPVs go, Fastlane was fine, if incredibly messy...
