2023 women's Royal Rumble winner Rhea Ripley is grateful to Kofi Kingston for previously telling the media that she should challenge for the Intercontinental Title someday.

Rhea also revealed during a chat with Ariel Helwani (for BT Sport) after the Rumble that she'd be "down" with going after GUNTHER and working some inter-gender matches on WWE TV. That chatter comes amidst comparisons to Chyna from Kofi and some fans out there - Ripley finds those very flattering too.

The Judgment Day member has since revealed that she's targeting Charlotte Flair's SmackDown Women's Title at WrestleMania 39. That came as a slight surprise to some, but does hark back to Flair beating Rhea at 'Mania 36 in the quaint surroundings of WWE's Performance Center.

It'll be interesting to see how this plays out, because casting Ripley as the heel and Charlotte as the babyface could backfire on WWE's creative team.

There's a good chance Rhea will win the SmackDown strap in April and then become the face of the women's division on Friday nights. Don't hold your breath for that IC Title challenge though! It's fun to think about, but less likely.
