WWE Files New NXT Trademarks, IIconics Set For Switch?

Candice LeRae and KUSHIDA amongst names registered.

As WWE prepares to launch NXT on the USA Network later this month, the company has filed for a number of trademarks for the black and gold brand's superstars.

Within the last week, the following monikers have been registered:

- Candice LeRae

- Cameron Grimes

- Tegan Nox

- Shane Thorne

- Joaquin Wilde

- Arturo Ruas

- Dominik Dijakovic

- Damian Priest

- Jaxson Ryker

- Bronson Reed

- Jordan Myles

- Raul Mendoza

- Kushida

This follows a similar spate a few weeks back, which saw Breezango, Matt Riddle and Walter's names trademarked, amongst others. Intriguingly, The IIconics were also amongst the bunch, a notable outlier which may suggest WWE plan to shift them to Wednesday nights (although it's not clear why this term was not already registered).

NXT is set to launch on USA on 18 September, in advance of AEW's 4 October television debut on TNT.
