WWE Filming Special Content In Edge's Hometown?
A couple of top WWE stars were spotted in Edge's home city last week.
Rey and Dominik Mysterio were both spotted in Asheville, North Carolina on 9 September, reports PWInsider's Mike Johnson.
This is notable as the duo's fellow Raw star, Edge, currently resides in the city, meaning it's possible that the wrestlers could have been on location to film something.
All three wrestlers are currently entangled in one of WWE Raw's biggest storylines. It stems from Edge's issues with his former stable, The Judgment Day, whose Rhea Ripley and Damian Priest kicked the Hall of Famer out of the group to induct Finn Balor as their new leader in June.
Edge then aligned with the Mysterios against The Judgment Day after returning at SummerSlam 2022 (30 July). He and Rey teamed to face Priest and Balor at Clash At The Castle on 3 September. Though they were victorious, that event yielded the long-awaited Dominik heel turn on Edge and Rey, with the 25-year-old joining Judgment Day in the aftermath.
Last week's episode of Raw saw Edge effectively demand a fight with Dominik, though an understandably conflicted Rey attempted to talk him down from doing anything too brutal to his son. Priest ended up defeating the elder Mysterio one on one elsewhere on that show.
