Goodness gracious...

Well, WWE, you shake our nerves and you rattle our brains.

The results might have been mostly predictable but there were moments of great spectacle in the silliest named PPV of all time and at least a couple of big shocks along the way. We got to see a real life dream match that wasn't the inevitable squash you would have called when it was initially set up (and indeed many did), and if nothing else, we all go to see WWE play with the definition of "heel" behaviour in a way not seen since Stone Cold ruled the ring.

There will be lots of questions in the wake of this PPV: what does it mean for SummerSlam, for instance. And what does Roman Reigns have to do to actually be called a heel aside from committing actual murder? Or where the hell is Finn Balor? Some of them are good for story-build to the bigger PPV, others, not so much.

If the simplest indicator of success is making you want to tune into Raw, then it probably worked. There has to be some fall-out from Strowman and Reigns and we might get an answer to the Balor conundrum, so there's something to cater to those who do specifically for the follow-up.

So how did the Internet community see the PPV?
