Result: Braun Strowman wins after eliminating Big Cass (1:17:20).
Rating: The Royal Rumble is kinda like pizza: even when it's not that good it's still somewhat enjoyable. What this match lacked in memorable spots - aside from that hysterical Titus O'Neil botch, of course - it compensated with a great mix of competitors and two records being broken (Daniel Bryan lasting 76 minutes and Braun eliminating 13 entrants).
The highlights included Elias' surprisingly strong showing (even eliminating Kurt Angle), Bryan going the distance and Strowman's satisfying victory, even if the match ultimately felt quite cobbled together and under-booked in terms of crowd-pleasing moments.
It remains to be seen whether this will become an annual fixture or not, but if it was a one-off, it was certainly enjoyable enough. 6/10
