The Freebirds have been on the short list of former wrestling superstars that have yet to be inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame despite being unquestionably deserving. Although not quite on the level of Randy Savage and the Ultimate Warrior, the Freebirds exclusion from the WWE Hall Of Fame up until this point has been a baffling one, especially when you consider the role that Michael Hayes has with the company today. It's probably just a longstanding rib on the former Dok Hendrix, but it's high time to end it. Michael "P.S." Hayes, Terry "Bam Bam" Gordy, Buddy Roberts, and Jimmy Garvin are all deserving of HOF inductions as the legendary Freebirds faction were pioneers in the pro-wrestling business, even if their stay in WWE was short-lived. With WrestleMania 32 taking place in the city of the old Dallas Sportatorium, 2016 is the perfect time and place to induct the legendary, patiently waiting group the Fabulous Freebirds into the WWE Hall Of Fame.
