WWE Hall Of Fame Class Of 2016 - 10 Possible Inductees

By Matt Davis /

6. John Bradshaw Layfield

Justin "Hawk" Bradshaw, Blackjack Bradshaw, Acolyte Bradshaw, John "Bradshaw" Layfield - the man has had many gimmicks in a WWE career that has spanned three decades, but the current RAW color commentator may have another one yet, and that is 'WWE Hall Of Famer'. After debuting for WWE in 1996, it took the veteran nearly 8 years to reach the main event, but he finally became WWE Champion in 2004 and was the longest-reigning WWE Champion in SmackDown history. JBL is not without his detractors, though. He was often regarded as a bully behind the scenes and was notoriously stiff with his peers, being booked to work with many WWE newcomers especially if they had a 'bad attitude' that needed correcting. Given his history and tenure with the company, he's clearly held in high regard with WWE officials, which makes a WWE Hall Of Fame induction a likelihood. Add in the Dallas, Texas locale and it seems pretty likely that JBL is going in this year. Ah love it, Maggle!
