WWE Hall Of Famer Says He "Can't" Watch His Old Matches
Re-watching classic matches from yesteryear is far too painful for this WWE legend.
JBL has told fans watching his YouTube channel that he "can't" watch any of his old matches anymore.
The WWE legend conducted a special Q&A, and revealed that he's never re-lived classics against Eddie Guerrero, John Cena, The Undertaker and others. In fact, Layfield got into a habit of re-watching matches as soon as they'd finished - then, he vowed never to stick them on again for a quick ego trip later.
Now, after retiring from full-time competition in 2009, JBL finds it far too painful to go back and watch his in-ring career at all. He told viewers that it only makes him sad that he can't pull on some boots and do it all over again.
Retiring due to injuries is also something that "kind of bugs" the WWE Hall Of Famer. "I wish I could still get in the ring and do it", he added. That, along with the personal habits he developed during his prime, forbid JBL from firing up the WWE Network/Peacock and watching some of his bigger pay-per-view battles.
He doesn't think he's "watched one" of those classics since they happened.
