WWE Hall Of Famer and former D-Generation X fave Road Dogg says he would've loved to have been the nWo's "uncool member" during the 1990s.

Speaking via his podcast, the one-time New Age Outlaw also added that he could've replaced Sean 'Syxx/X-Pac' Waltman in the group when he left to rejoin the WWF in early 1998. There was just one problem: Roadie was already being lined up as a key member of DX himself, so departing for WCW was never actually on the cards.

It's a fun thought, at least.

Looking back, Dogg believes he could've been a complete contrast to the ultra-cool monochrome stylings of Hollywood Hogan, Scott Hall and Kevin Nash. Being the awkward kid brother would've appealed to him, which is probably surprising when he was flying high as part of DX on the other channel anyway.

In an honest moment, the legend said he "wasn’t a good enough wrestler" to be part of The Four Horsemen (and encouraged fans to lay off Lex Luger in that regard), but the nWo would've been a neat fit for him at the time.

Interesting.
