WWE Hell In A Cell: 10 Things We Learned

4. 'Corporate' Kane Will Be Fired

The stipulation for 'Demon' Kane's match against Seth Rollins demanded a win for the masked man. If the 'Big Red Machine' failed to come out on top, his 'Corporate' counterpart would thus be fired as 'Director Of Operations' for The Authority. Due to the fact it was Seth Rollins who won the match - and defended his title - that seems set to come to pass on Monday Night Raw. Expect a segment whereby Triple H and Stephanie McMahon evaluate what happened, and deem that 'Corporate' Kane can no longer be part of their plans. Unless the creative team have something shocking in mind, this is how the story must play out. There's room for Kane in the The Undertaker's story at Survivor Series, but only as the 'Demon' Kane, not the suit and tie wearing one. It would be silly of the booking squad to renege on their own stipulation for Hell In A Cell. The angle during which Kane appears as multiple characters has already outlived its welcome, the Pay-Per-View was the best time for it to be put to bed. Kane is a huge part of Undertaker's lore, so he should be moved on to dealing with the plight of his storyline brother.
