8. Dean Ambrose Didn't Do Anything Significant At All
Dean Ambrose, one of the most consistently popular and charismatic wrestlers on WWEs roster, was on-screen for all of two minutes to congratulate Reigns on his victory over Bray Wyatt. Thats it. He didnt wrestle against the Authoritys hired guns, he didnt show up to mock Rollins, he didnt even wrestle on the pre-show. And this is the man once pegged to be the standout member of the Shield. Clearly it wouldnt have hurt for WWE to cut a few minutes from Undertakers post-match recovery or from one of their video packages to give Ambrose five minutes to walk all over some jobber like Bo Dallas. Ambrose just wrestling on the card wouldve helped the crowd stay awake during the show, especially since he gets huge reactions whenever he enters the arena. This decision speaks of a show booked either at the last minute, or re-written several times, or both. While its true that you cant always get what you want, WWE should know better than to keep one of their most popular stars out of the ring for a show taking place during a period mired by terrible ratings.
