WWE Hell In A Cell 2016: 6 Reasons Cesaro & Sheamus Will Win Tag Team Gold
Do it for Demolition, chaps.
Throughout the summer, Cesaro and Sheamus did battle in a Best of Seven Series that would ultimately have an unfulfilling end. When the seventh match ended in a No Contest General Manager Mick Foley made the decision to stick with the draw rather than put together a rubber match, and put Cesaro & Sheamus together as a tag team.
The championship opportunity afforded to the winner was therefore a chance to win the WWE Raw Tag Team Championship. Many rolled their eyes in irritation when this story began to unfold, but it is a testament to the quality of both Cesaro & Sheamus that the story hasn't been a complete waste of time. The two are doing a damn fine job as partners who can't get along but begrudgingly know they are perfect for each other.
This Sunday the duo (Cesarmus? Sheamaro? The European Association? Who knows) will challenge The New Day for those titles. Kofi Kingston, Xavier Woods and Big E. have been champions for well over 400 days now, and the prevailing assumption is that they will hold the titles until they have surpassed the record set by Demolition way back in the late 1980s.
I disagree. The time is right for Cesaro & Sheamus to defeat New Day, and here are six reasons why.
