Elsewhere the show did at least provide one pleasant surprise: Baron Corbin was in an entertaining match, and one that actually played to his strengths, as he captured the U.S. Title in a triple threat match against champion AJ Styles and Tye Dillinger.

Forget the Deep Six when you've got this hellacious chokeslam. Sure, some world-class selling from Styles definitely helped.

At least things are turning around for Big Banter: it seemed like he might've burned one bridge too many for a little while there, but this seems to conclude that he's back on terra firma.
