Indeed, Sami Zayn seemingly turned heel, or tweener at the very least, as he pulled K.O. off the table at the very last second, causing Shane McMahon to land on nothing but table, allowing Owens to score the win.

Apparently this friendship is one for the ages, no matter the heartbreaks in-between.

It didn't take long for the Star Wars references to come pouring in, either.

Poor Becky Lynch. So many of her friends have turned to the dark side, and now another.

From a creative perspective, though, it was a damn fine call. Zayn has been floundering for a while, but now his character has a juicy arc moving forward...as long as WWE doesn't balls it up, of course.
