WWE Hell In A Cell 2018: Every Match Ranked From Worst To Best
It was good... until it wasn't.
For the first two-or-so hours of Hell in a Cell, it really seemed like WWE were fixing to put out their most shockingly consistent show in a damn long time. Matches were surprisingly satisfying and wrestlers prone to phoning things in were actually giving performances that suggested they cared (looking at you, Randy Orton).
What a shame it is, then, that the latter portion of the card tanked that prior consistency, serving up three depressingly dull matches back-to-back to close the show out.
Overall it was probably still a better PPV than it seemed on paper, but as usual, screwy finishes and uninspired booking inevitably arrived to derail things.
At least fans got one great match and several very solid ones out of it all, but again, this show's better moments were somewhat undone by the sluggish, bloated pacing and atrocious main event ending.
Above all else, we can all agree that WWE should never, ever use the red cell again, right?
