7. Lio Rush Bags Cruiserweight Gold

Though it didn't quite make the USA Network portion of NXT's debut on the channel, Lio Rush vs. Oney Lorcan was one hell of a match. If you haven't checked it out on the Network, what are you waiting for? Honestly, it's worth seeing. This is a lil' Lio those who only knew him as Bobby Lashley's lackey won't recognise.

Lorcan did his part to make the match sing, but it was Rush who came across as the real star on 18 September. The win bagged him a Cruiserweight Title shot against Drew Gulak too, and it's time to pull ye olde trigger on a title switch this Sunday. Oh yes, yours truly is suggesting Lio Rush, he of much locker room heat, should win the gold.

He's a star WWE can build 205 Live's move to Fridays around.

It really doesn't matter if this takes place on the Kickoff show or the main card either. The most pressing thing here is that Rush gets to take a kicking from Gulak's ground-based offence before launching a fast-paced comeback for the win.
