Rating: This match was further proof that Vince should've pulled the trigger on Heel Roman a long time ago.

Roman was on fire here as both a character and a storyteller - the tears! - while Jey played his part of the scrappy underdog as well as anyone ever has.

It might've been a tad too long and didn't make much use of the cell itself, but the physicality was still palpable throughout, and by the end it truly felt like these two had been through a war.

It all culminated in that superbly smart ending, which elevated Roman's callousness and the deeply personal stakes of the match beyond mere titles. 8/10
