WWE Hell In A Cell: Best & Worst Win-Loss Records

By John Bills /

4. John Cena (5 Matches, 3 Losses)

Considering he is John Cena, it is surprising how many PPV matches he has lost over the years. His Hell in a Cell record is fairly similar to his Night of Champions one, with a couple of victories scattered in between a plethora of losses. In this instance, his two wins have come in his last two appearances, against rival for life Randy Orton and Alberto Del Rio. His losses? Well, one came against Orton of course, as it is WWE law for Randy Orton and John Cena to face off a thousand times in all possible types of match. Cena also came up short against Alberto Del Rio in a triple threat match that also included CM Punk, for the WWE Championship in 2011. Surprisingly, Cena's other defeat at the event came at the hands of WWE's most losingest-loser, Wade Barrett. The stipulation here was that if Cena lost, he must join the Nexus. He joined the Nexus, and the rest is history. Which obviously means that the Nexus was history.
