There is no denying that Braun Strowman has incredible size and a presence about him that screams "star." He looks like an unstoppable force, the likes of which Hulk Hogan would have done tremendous business with on the house show circuit back in the late 1980s. But wrestling is different today. One's abilities between the ropes are as vital to his or her success as presence or size. If fans do not buy them as competent wrestlers, the backlash will be strong and merciless. While Strowman has proven to be serviceable when asked not to do much, it was apparent Sunday night just how much guiding it takes to get him through extended matches. Tag team partner Erick Rowan could be seen openly directing Strowman, telling him what to do and where to set up spots. Big Show was also in a similar position, instructing his opponent. The result was a fairly decent garbage bout given the Superstars involved. Veteran competitors came together, carried the young guy to a strong performance and sent fans home with a satisfying main event.
