PWInsider Elite is reporting that Vince McMahon held a special 'all hands on deck' meeting with his employees midweek.

McMahon told staff that WWE planned to reinstate promotions and raises imminently. Those had been frozen in May 2020 due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, but it looks like things are very much back on. What's more, PWInsider's sources claim that a "significant portion of staff" will receive raises "in the coming days and weeks".

There's bound to be some happy faces behind the scenes and at WWE HQ then.

The site described this outcome as a "major implication" and a good sign that things are getting back to normal for the company. WWE hits the road for shows in Texas this week - Friday's episode of SmackDown will be the first TV show in front of a live, in-person crowd since early-March 2020.

WWE will follow that up with Sunday's Money In The Bank pay-per-view and Monday's edition of Raw.

To recap, many WWE staffers are about to get a bump in pay. PWInsider didn't detail exactly how much salaries were being bumped by, but the news (as you'd imagine) went over well with office employees.
