The WWE NXT brand is growing and they want to bring in more part time stars that they can use on NXT live event tours such as Samoa Joe and Rhyno. The Wrestling Observer mentions that WWE is looking ahead to 2016 knowing that some of the main stars of NXT currently like Finn Balor, Tyler Breeze, Sasha Banks, Charlotte, Becky Lynch and injured stars like Sami Zayn & Hideo Itami might be on the main roster by early next year. While they will certainly try to get others to fill those spots, it won't be an easy task, which is why more talent from outside WWE would be needed. It has been mentioned recently that WWE started to have talks with the Evolve promotion because they were hoping to work out some kind of deal where they can use Evolve performers on NXT events something of a feeder system. No deal has been worked out with Evolve, but the fact that they even had talks shows WWE is willing to try different things. Samoa Joe hasn't worked on the main roster aside from wrestling a dark match prior to the June 1st Raw, which led to Tyson Kidd's neck injury. Apparently there's no heat on Joe for it because he was still using the Muscle Buster at the three NXT live events that he worked last weekend. While no names were specifically mentioned, Austin Aries of TNA is a possibility because his deal with them is expiring at the end of this month and he could be willing to give NXT tours a try. What's also interesting about the NXT tours is that many wrestlers on the main roster want to work the NXT shows since the crowds are so energetic for them.
