PWInsider Elite is reporting that WWE's interest in signing Zilla Fatu is high, and now the promotion sneaks ever closer to getting their man. Fatu has been spotted at the company's in-house Performance Center training facility amidst speculation that he's about to sign on the dotted line and become part of a bubbling faction civil war on television.

The Wrestling Observer doubled down on word of Zilla's PC appearance, but they (like PWInsider) didn't say exactly why Fatu was at the building. However, most outlets are putting 2+2 together here. Besides, this isn't exactly out of the blue - Paul Heyman has previously waxed lyrical about how impressive the 26 year old worker is.

For reference, Zilla is the son of former WWE star Umaga.

He only began wrestling training in 2022, but has turned heads in independent groups such as GCW, HOG and Booker T's Reality Of Wrestling. Fatu has also popped up here or there in TNA, and once wrestled MJF for the AEW World Title on another independent card (HOG's No Turning Back event on 20 February).

Previously, Zilla had told reporters that he'd wait it out on an offer from WWE rather than inking terms with All Elite. His heart is set on going there, likely because of the family ties and the chance to cameo in the perpetual Bloodline saga.

WWE sort of teased a WarGames showdown between Bloodline and MFTs for Survivor Series later this year during a backstage segment involving Solo and Royce Keys on last week's episode of SmackDown.
