SEScoops has reported as much. Per one WWE source with knowledge of the market-leaders' recruitment strategy:

"I can see WWE clearly being interested in him."

There is currently no word on the specific date Hook's contract with AEW expires.

Hook, 24, is the son of former WWE and ECW wrestler and current AEW commentator Taz. The Massapequa, New York native debuted under his father in November 2020, joining Team Taz alongside Brian Cage, Ricky Starks, and Powerhouse Hobbs, initially serving as a side character in the stable, before finally making his in-ring debut in December 2021.

Currently tethered to Chris Jericho on AEW television, Hook is sitting on a 49-8 record in the promotion, with booker Tony Khan careful in his protection of the growing prospect. The Jericho storyline appears to be heading for another singles match between the two following Lion Hook and Katsuyori Shibata's loss to Shane Taylor Promotions on this Wednesday's Dynamite.

In their previous singles match (20 March), Hook defeated Jericho in around 11 minutes.
