After being name-dropped on Raw during December’s Legends Night episode, it now looks as if it’s only a matter of time until Cardi B works with WWE.

If you remember, Lacey Evans mentioned the rapper on the Legends Night special, and Cardi B herself was quick to take to social media to make reference to that particular segment.

During an interview with Forbes, WWE President & Chief Revenue Officer Nick Khan was asked whether there would be a possibility of the company working with Cardi B in addition to further appearances from Bad Bunny or other musical artists.

As Khan put it:

“Yes, and specifically the two that you just mentioned. Obviously, there is no touring right now, so the ability to get Bad Bunny for however long this run is going to be – and you’re going to see a lot of him – I don’t believe that would have existed in a world where Bad Bunny was on tour. That’s going to be a continual effort, so we’re always going to watch Bad Bunny, Cardi B to get involved.”

From there, Khan would go on to detail how it’s now easier to book such talent when they’re not touring across “25 different cities”, and he’d also reserve special praise for WWE Champion Drew McIntyre, Universal Champion Roman Reigns and 2021 men’s Royal Rumble winner Edge – plus talked up the recent five-year deal for WWE Network to be exclusive to Peacock.

While it remains to be seen if and when Cardi B will turn up on WWE television, the current word is that Bad Bunny – who performed his Booker T single at last month’s Royal Rumble PPV – may well team with Damian Priest to take on the Miz and John Morrison at WrestleMania 37.
