WWE Is Taking It Slow With Jade Cargill
Latest on Jade Cargill's WWE development plans.
WWE appears to be taking a relatively slow and steady approach with Jade Cargill's development.
PWInsider's Mike Johnson reports that rather than training at the WWE Performance Center full-time, Cargill is typically at the Winter Park, Florida facility only 1-2 days a week. This schedule is to continue going forward.
WWE is yet to set an official date for Cargill's arrival on the main roster. Additionally, there isn't a timescale for her to become an NXT regular, either.
The promotion's current view of Jade is as a "strong talent for the future" that officials do not want to rush into stories, which matches up with her apparent training schedule.
Paul 'Triple H' Levesque commented on Cargill's development during his post-Survivor Series 2023 press conference this weekend. WWE's Chief Content Officer claimed that before signing with the market leaders, Jade's development was "limited", which wasn't her fault:
“It’s interesting, when she came in, we talked about her development and where she would land, but what the development was. I wanna make sure, that no matter what is thrown at Jade Cargill, she’s ready. At no fault of her own, I think that she was limited in that. So the idea is, we exposed her, we made her be seen. People are understanding and they’re waiting and they’re excited for her to come, and when she does, it’s going to be massive.”
