WWE Legend Alundra Blayze Wants One Last Match
The WWE Hall of Famer and former Madusa is chasing a big retirement match.
In a proclamation that should likely be taken with a pinch of salt, given the boldness of the subject's social media activity, WWE legend Alundra Blayze has called on the promotion to grant her a retirement match.
The WWE Hall of Famer tweeted the following on Thursday evening:-
Blayze last wrestled in October 2018. She competed in her first match in 18 years at the Evolution pay-per-view, though she was heavily protected in a 20-woman battle royal that also brought guest appearances from Ivory, Molly Holly, Michelle McCool, and more. She was also 24/7 Champion for a typically minuscule spell on the 22 July episode of Raw.
Blayze debuted for WWE in 1993, crossing over from WCW, where she had made her name as Madusa. She was a key player in the promotion's attempts at reviving its women's division after bringing the Women's Championship back for the first time in three years and won the belt that December, later participating in a notable feud with Bull Nakano.
Released from WWE in late 1995, Alundra was blacklisted from WWE for 20 years after throwing the company's Women's Title in a trash can during an episode of WCW Nitro. This ended with her Hall of Fame induction in 2015.
