WWE Legend Banned From Attending Sting's Last AEW Match?!
This WWE legend wanted to be ringside for Sting's match at AEW Revolution, but...
Kevin Nash has revealed he asked WWE bigwigs if he could be there for Sting's final match at AEW Revolution on 3 March. An awkward silence followed, and Nash got the message - he won't be there live in Greensboro to cheer on his old friend.
The legend told this story via his 'Kliq This' podcast. He went on to say that Sting actually asked him if he'd like to be a part of things, but Kevin knew his "positioning with WWE" could make that problematic. Nash is also long time friends with current WWE chief Triple H, but didn't say on the pod whether that had anything to do with it or not.
Now, Nash will be watching Revolution from home with everyone else.
Kev admitted to being "disappointed" that he'll miss the Stinger's last hurrah in person. Sting is similarly bummed out by the news, but understands why Nash can't be there to see him team with Darby Allin vs. freshly turned heel duo The Young Bucks.
Nash described the awkward silence as like "a three second pause". The company pretty much said no without outright saying no.
