Bully Ray wasn't a fan of Liv Morgan's first promo as SmackDown Women's Champion on Raw.

The WWE Hall Of Famer told listeners on Busted Open Radio that Liv appeared to be "playing a pro wrestler as opposed to being a pro wrestler". Everything about the segment came across as insincere and forced to Ray; the legend said that he understands why WWE do that "uber babyface" stuff, but that he'd rather see Liv "come out there and stand on her own two feet - verbally and physically".

Fair enough.

The former Dudley Boy, who isn't shy when it comes to giving his true opinions on the current product, noted that Morgan's promo "started to trail off a bit" after a decent start. He thinks that's because the Money In The Bank 2022 winner "was trying to memorise a promo".

That, to Bully, is a real problem with WWE's system. Ray doesn't think the company would ever hand Liv a microphone and say, "Here’s five minutes, go say whatever the hell you want to say". That's what he would've preferred to see.

Liv didn't get a ton of time before being interrupted by Natalya and Carmella.
