WWE Legend Pitches BIG Royal Rumble Spot For Bron Breakker
Perhaps WWE creative should hear this Hall Of Famer out. He's onto something!
WWE Hall Of Famer and former ECW original Bully Ray/Bubba Ray Dudley thinks Triple H should seriously think about giving NXT's Bron Breakker a lofty spot during January's Royal Rumble 2024 match.
Ray told listeners via Busted Open Radio that he's not suggesting Breakker win the 30-man match, but that he should set a record for eliminating the most wrestlers instead. Brock Lesnar and Braun Strowman are currently tied for most eliminations at 13 (Brock in 2020 and Braun during the Greatest Rumble, if anybody counts that!).
So, Bron would have to go at least one better and hit the 14 mark if he wanted to nab the record. It's worth saying that's almost half the field in the match. Bully didn't mention that, but did say it's very important WWE's gives "[Breakker] an accolade that he can hang his hat on" when he jumps up to the main roster.
Ray believes it's smart of Hunter to play the waiting game. He'd hate to see someone as talented as Bron land on Raw or SmackDown prematurely and end up as just another NXT bust.
Could Royal Rumble fame be waiting?
