WWE Legend Says Logan Paul Is "Better Than 90% Of AEW's Roster"
An outspoken ex-WWE man thinks Logan Paul is already better than most AEW stars.
Jim Cornette believes WWE newbie Logan Paul is "better than 90% of AEW's roster" at the "basics" of pro wrestling.
Cornette was on a typical rant during the most recent episode of his podcast when he made the dig. According to Jim, the celeb-turned-wrestler (who was working only his third ever match) deserves huge praise for his performance in Saudi Arabia at Crown Jewel.
Paul was up against Roman Reigns in the main event, so it was a pressure spot, but he delivered and even managed to go viral by filming his big dive from the top turnbuckle through the announce desk. Cornette thought that was interesting, and he liked the bout overall.
The outspoken former promoter/manager/commentator also said that Logan hits a better 'Buckshot Lariat' than "old hangnail". That was a poke at AEW star 'Hangman' Adam Page - apparently, Cornette isn't a fan of the way Page hits clotheslines either.
Jim especially likes the preparation that Paul put in for such a huge, physically-demanding match. He couldn't resist another shot across AEW's bows here; that's when Corny uttered the "better than 90%" line.
