WWE Legends Clash Over THIS NXT Main Roster Call Up
Two WWE Hall Of Famers butt heads about a possible NXT > Raw/SmackDown promotion.
WWE Hall Of Famers Bully Ray and Booker T disagree on whether or not current NXT Women's Champ Roxanne Perez should be called up to the main roster soon. Bully says no, but Booker (who trained Perez) has bit back to say yes.
Bully previously said via Busted Open Radio that Roxanne would need to improve several important aspects of her game before landing on Raw or SmackDown. Responding on his own podcast, Booker said he likes Ray but "he don’t know what the hell he’s talking about".
Then, Book added a bit of needle to the situation by saying, "I don’t see none of Bubba Ray’s students out there doing nothing. I’m just saying". Predictably, Perez believes she's more than ready to roll out on the main roster, but did say she's enjoying her time on NXT and will work hard regardless.
"Ready is an understatement", she offered.
It'll be interesting to see if Bully Ray adds any more fuel to the fire by reacting to Booker's remarks. There's a chance he'll clarify his own original comments too. Of course, everyone involved is allowed an opinion.
