Kevin Nash has revealed that his pitch to host WWE's recent SummerSlam 2023 PLE fell on "deaf ears" - the company Hall Of Famer just...didn't get a reply.

Yep, WWE left him on read. For shame.

Kev told fans tuning into his 'Kliq This' podcast that he was keen to MC the pay-per-view because it was held in his hometown Detroit. At one point, Nash even added: "I'm not bullsh*tting", but says WWE probably wouldn't let "this motherfu*king liberal anywhere near that program".

'Big Sexy' planned to camp outside Ford Field and talk to fans from the local area and those who had flown in from all over the world for SummerSlam. He basically wanted to be a high profile hype man for the event, but it was never realistically going to happen.

WWE didn't shoot it down, or anything, they just didn't reply to Kevin's suggestion. The legend was already working a Highspots fan signing, but fancied doubling up to help bring SummerSlam to the masses. Apparently, old buddy Triple H wasn't all that interested in the idea.

Oh well, maybe next time eh?
