Rey Mysterio is out of Team Raw for the men's elimination match at this Sunday's Survivor Series 2021 pay-per-view.

WWE pulled the switch on last night's episode of Raw, on which Mysterio lost to Bobby Lashley in the main event. Having been put away via Hurt Lock, Rey was tended to by his son, Dominik, after the bell, before authority figure Adam Pearce hit the stage and announced that Mysterio was being removed from the pay-per-view for the good of the team - and himself.

Austin Theory then came out from the back, putting Dominik down with the ATL. Pearce announced the red brand newcomer as Rey's replacement, saying that he liked his style, confirming Team Raw's second switch-up in as many weeks.

Dominik was pulled from the Raw team after being squashed by Lashley on last week's episode. The men's five-on-five elimination bout now looks like this:-

- Team Raw (Seth Rollins, Finn Balor, Kevin Owens, Bobby Lashley, and Austin Theory) vs. Team SmackDown (Drew McIntyre, Jeff Hardy, King Woods, Happy Corbin, and one more TBC).
