Just by watching the way he got so fired up during the segment, it's clear that Triple H was having an emotional night. A lot of this can be attributed to the sad passing of one Dusty Rhodes, but that did provide the fuel for 'The Game' to sound off during the skit and show that he's one hell of a talker when switched on. After Kane, J&J Security and Stephanie McMahon had all pretty much disregarded Rollins, Triple H cut an impassioned speech about how it was time for his "chosen champion" to prove himself and show everyone exactly why he had put so much faith in him. It's not difficult to imagine this kind of pep talk happening for real backstage, because art has imitated real life with The Authority and Rollins, WWE really do believe he's the future. It's rare to see great promos nowadays, but this was one of them, and the crowd watching in the arena even showed signs of life, which doesn't happen all that often in the modern era. This was the ideal backdrop and last minute push the WWE Title match needed to seem like a big deal, and HHH's words only added credibility.
