4. Is Corbin's Push Finally Coming?
After months of frustration about Baron Corbin being dropped out of relevancy, the result of the main event at least means that he should now get some sort of push. It's been a long time coming - particularly with the repeated mantra that he's popular with WWE.
It's something to look forward to at the very least...
Also, the booking - or more specifically the decision not to let some of the others win - did make some sense...
The problem with the end of the ladder match - and the stare-down between AJ Styles and Nakamura specifically (and the reaction that elicited) is that they've promised a hugely exciting match, and it has nothing to do with the winner of MITB or the current Champion.
They should be hyping the idea of Baron Corbin cashing in on Jinder Mahal, and that just doesn't sound all that interesting...
